Creative Commons
Only two weeks left of school. I have been way too busy to post, but I have learned a lot and hope to post more this summer.
I took a class on creative commons. It's a little tricky at first. I found it cumbersome to meet the attribution guidelines of the work's creator. Once I got past that though, I found that using creative commons material frees me from copyright worries. There is an endless supply of quality work available for free. Properly citing the author is a small price to pay.

Moving Right Along
I am getting the hang of the Blogger interface. I've added some links, made horizontal tabs and changed the look of the site. Please provide feedback. I need suggestions for more content to add. I want to make this site as useful as possible.

Picture This
I'm still trying to improve this site while I've got the time. I added a few more links to some categories and played with the color scheme. Enough with these minor adjustments. I need to add some pictures.
My next major undertaking is to enhance the There's an App for That section.
I want to add some screen shots from my iPad, but it appears as though Blogger (a Google product) is going to force me to upload my pics to Picasa (another Google product) in order to access them easily. Coincidence, I'm sure.
Does anybody know an easier way?

Time On My Hands
Christmas is past and New Years Eve is still several days away. That means I have time to work on things that are impossible when school is in session. I have been wanting to set up a blog for a long time, so here it is!
I hope to collect many handy dandy links that make teaching easier. We can all search the web on our own, but it would be nice to have a collection of great sites to visit when looking for something. Time is of the essence. We need what we need when we need it. We don't need to go through thousands of choices looking for what we need.
This is a work in progress. The more people who participate, the more useful this will be. Please send suggestions. Thank you.
